Volunteer Ministry Opportunities

You are invited to participate in our parish community through ministry involvement. It is our hope that your participation in the ministries at the Parish of St. Benedict will help you grow in your discipleship as we serve the needs of our faith community and the wider community in which we live.

In our discipleship, we carry out our mission through these four main areas of ministry in the parish:

Administrative Ministries These ministries involve all administrative aspects of the parish: Parish Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Building Operations, Parish Festival and Development Council.

Liturgical Ministries These ministries include all of those that are involved directly with the Sunday liturgy, such as Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristans, Bread Bakers, Choir and more.

Outreach Ministries These ministries encompass our outreach programs that provide services to members of our parish and the greater community, such as the Pastoral Care Committee, Prayer Ministry, Employment Clearing House, Bereavement Support Group and Parish Discipleship Team to name a few.

Organizational Ministries These ministries are organizations that have a presence within the Parish of St. Benedict community: St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are some examples.
