Liturgical

Image of Father Gary at altarLiturgy is the source and summit of the Christian Life. Simply defined liturgy is the “work of the people” and is the way in which we are nourished and sent fourth to serve our sisters and brothers in imitation of Jesus the Christ. We are invited by the words of the second Vatican Council to celebrate each liturgy with full, conscious, and active participation. This call is not merely for a few but for all people as we share in and celebrate our royal priesthood through the gift of Baptism. We would invite you to discern what ministry you are called to in service of our sisters and brothers. In our parish people serve as:

Altar Server to assist the priest.
Eucharist Minister to distribute to people the Body and Blood of Christ.
Hospitality Ministers to welcome all who come to give praise to God.
Lector to proclaim the Word of God.
Sacristan to prepare what is needed for worship.
Liturgy of the Word for Children
Arts and Environment
Eucharistic Bread Makers
Musician to help us to pray twice as we sing in thanksgiving to God.
