If you are a male at least 18 years of age and a practicing Catholic, consider joining the Knights of Columbus Council #12246 at the Parish of St. Benedict. We are a “can-do” organization that volunteers to help the less fortunate and support our parish.

We provide financial as well volunteer hours to worthy organizations, such as: St. Vincent de Paul, St. John Bosco Catholic School, Seton Catholic High School and Maggie’s Place.

The Knights coordinate many parish activities such as:

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Blood Drives
  • Valentine’s Day Dance
  • Organ Donor Sunday
  • Transportation to Rosary Sunday

The Knights of Columbus also provide growth and leadership opportunities, as our members participate on all of the parish councils and committees.

The Knights of Columbus is the largest men’s Catholic fraternal organization in the world, and our Council has been in existence at the Parish of St. Benedict for 15 years. To become a member of the Knights of Columbus, you must complete a Form 100 located in the church lobby and go through a 1st Degree ceremony. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm and meetings typically last for one hour.
