Continuing Christ’s Work
To the parishioners at St. Benedict, Your wonderful generosity makes it possible for our ministry to lend a helping hand to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. Your donations of time, money, food and personal care items for the Saint Benedict’s pantry give our ministry life and our clients hope. God bless you all.
Who we are
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an international fraternal non-profit organization of lay people, dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. We are a group of caring individuals who prayerfully gather to discuss how to help our brothers and sisters in need, and pool our talents to provide support to them.
Who we serve
We assist the working poor or homeless that reside within our parish boundaries. This can be families or individuals that have encountered financial difficulties and need temporary assistance to get them through a difficult time.
How we help
- Food boxes
- Utility or rental assistance
- Bus tickets or gas cards
- Referrals to other agencies to help with client specific needs
- Prayer and hope
How you can help
- Pray for us and the clients we serve
- Become a Vincentian
- Volunteer with us
- Donate food to our pantry
- Make a financial contribution
- Provide services at lower cost for clients, i.e. car repair, plumbing, etc.
“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me.”
