Sacramental Preparation
Sacrament Preparation for Eucharist and Reconciliation - When children are 7, 8 or 9 yrs. old, parents may present their child for either sacrament. Our Christian Formation “Family Guidebook”, available in the office, explains the details of our preparation. Parents of children who have been presented for immediate preparation of either sacrament are given spiritual guidance, sacramental theology, and a wonderful text with a detailed guide that enables them to prepare their child in a personal manner at home.
Our parish program will gather these children and their parents for several sessions prior to the first celebrations of Eucharist or Reconciliation.
