Prayers for the People of Ukraine

03-18-2022Weekly Flocknote MessageFr. James Aboyi, VC

Please join us in praying for the people of Ukraine. Let us pray for the dead, those suffering, for the refugees and for an end to the war. In view of the seriousness of the situation, Pope Francis will be consecrating Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday next week, Feast of the Annunciation, March 25, 2022. Pope Francis will lead the consecration in Rome at 5:00pm – which will be 9:00am, Arizona time.

Our second collection next weekend for Catholic Relief Services is quite timely. Our Bishop, Thomas Olmsted, invites us to support the people of Ukraine through the second collection. Please on the links below to view the message from our Bishop and also the link for the live streaming of the consecration:

I thank those who have already participated. I encourage those who have not yet participated to consider sending their pledge or payment this week. The CDA envelopes are available at the parish office and during weekend Masses in the MPR. Please give us a call in the parish office (480.961.1610) if you have any questi
