Bereavement

The death of a loved one, either a family member or a close friend, is often a traumatic experience. Regardless of the circumstances, one can never fully prepare for a death.

It raises many emotions and questions – “No, this has not happened. Why? What am I going to do? How will I survive without him or her? What will the future be like?” The questions are many and often the answers are few.

The purpose of the Bereavement Outreach Ministry is to provide support for those who have lost someone special. The intent is not necessarily to offer answers, but to provide support to those facing such questions. The ministry provides those who have experienced a loss the opportunity to share their experiences, feelings and emotions in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental setting.

Do you need help? The Bereavement Outreach Ministry is available to anyone in need. Please contact us if you would like to talk with someone.
